Hi,

I used POI Waraner with the Safety Cam database for the first time yesterday. I noticed that there are several cameras in the database that are no longer there. For example on the M6 where they had been some long term roadworks, no finished. Also some permanent cameras have moved for whatever reason, the A1 close to the bottom of the M1. Is there a simple way for us to help update the PGPS Database with this info?

Also I intend to help update the database with new cameras, 2 new ones have just popped up close to where I live (Southport). When recording is it best to record the one on each direction, as they are close together?

Deleting cameras is easy providing you have the latest version of the database as each camera is numbered. All you need to do is drop to map view, and locate the camera and tap it, it should then display a number. email cameras@pocketgpsworld.com and let us know which numbers are no longer there.

Be careful though, as sometimes cameras are added as mobile cameras, and they may not be there at the moment, but there may be weekly or monthly speed checks at that location.
