Mitec 168 Headphone port (US Model) microjack?

The subject says it all. I've just bought the Navman rebranded Mitec 168. So far, I'm pleased, and yes, the card is an SDIO as I can put in the SanDisk 256M/WiFI card. However,

How do I convert that microplug to use standard US 3.5" headphones? I can't seem to find an adapter.

you could purchase an adaptor but this would stick out and strain the socket, best bet is cut off the 3.5 and fit a 2.5mm plug. Easy if you are handy with a soldering iron.

The Mio168 uses a fairly common 2.5mm headphone socket. You can buy 3.5mm to 2.5mm converters or short flyleads with the relevant sockets and jacks on either end. Alternatively you can buy headphones with 2.5mm plugs.
