holux gr-231 wont power on help!!!!

I just purchased a gr-231 unit. the problem is that i fully charged the unit and it doesnt seem to power on. no leds. if i push the power button for one second the red sat led blinks once the nothing.

Maybe try holding it in for a little longer. On mine you get that one led flash, keep holding the button in and then they all start to flash.

i tried that but once i let go of the button all the leds go off again.
