Ihave the map of Western Europe on an SD card, im trying to install the speed cams from Germany, Holland, France however as the card just has one flder on it called Western Europe, when i copy and paste all the files for the different countries into the floder they want to write themseleves over each other, ie when ive pasted france ones then paste german ones ?
is there any easy way to load them?
ive been downloading the files from POIHandler

Rename the files, put e.g. France_ before each one. |

thanks for the info, do i have to rename the BMP images aswell, ie can i use the same image for all the 30mph cameras for sat france germany etc, or does the image have to be renamed the same as the file? |

Yes you have to rename the .bmp files too. You you will end up with multiple copies of the same bmp but with different names. |

You will run out of space if you try to load all the speed zoned cameras. The 700 will only read 39 .ov2 files!! usually the first 39 and it makes no difference if they are enabled or not. _________________ TTGO 700 (dead)

thanks for the info, ive just fisgured this out, im using a tomtom go, how many can that hold any ideas?

It's 39 per map folder. If you have the Western Europe map - that's it. it doesn't matter which GO you have the number is dependent on the software version, not the hardware.
39 is for early versions 4.42 and 5.1 (poss 5.2). Then TomTom reduced it to 27 for v5.201. Before increasing to 39 in v 5.41 and 5.42.
If you have updated to 5.42 you will have 39. _________________ TTGO 700 (dead)
