Please don't shout. It ain't nice this time of the morning.
I take it you want to know which database to download. Well it rather depends on which Navigational Software you are using.
Tell us more, and we'll try to help.;) _________________ Richard

Hello all, looks like a very useful site.
I have a garmin i3 and have downloaded the poi loader. I downloaded the speed camera stuff, saved the extracted the files and uploaded to the unit. The query i have is when i pass a speed camera that is on the database i don't get any warnings or notifications. I up loaded all the extracted files from the download so should this work ?
Thanks

The i3 warning software only warns you if you are exceeding the camera speed. If you are travelling at the correct speed or lower then you do not receive any warning. I fond it a little confusing at first. _________________ Mike Barrett |

You're downloading the wrong Camera Set.;)
If you Select TomTom OV2 Files in the First Drop Down Box, in the Second Box you get the Optrion to Download the various Camera Sets that TT can handle. They are all OV2 and BMP files. _________________ Richard

I hope this is the correct thread...!
I am faily new to speed cameras and know the yellow box ones thatc an be 'turned around' to point the other way, and I also know the Police vans.
But recently I have seen a some cameras on what look like green lamposts! The camera is mounted at the top instead of a 'lamp light'!
What are these? Any advice appreciated!

I think they are green!
They do not look like the one in the thread... but they do show on the latest Speed Camera database.. .
I will try to sort out a photo tomorrow!!

most of these give out traffic details on systems like vodaphone roadwatch and occasionally have numberplate cameras in them |

alkymag!
thanks for your reply!
I downloaded the latest Speed Camera Database, and these appear on it.
What do numberplate cameras actually do? Sounds obvious, they photograph numberplates but in what conditions?

Other than the ANPR vans, have a look at how TrafficMaster use Number Plate Cameras

Thanks for your repy!
I read the link and will do again to get it in my head!
So, I think, these green cameras are not speed camera's ...
but they do appear on the speed camera database..
Thanks for the links!
