i think i may have solved the age old problem of using ipaq1945 wil an sdio reciever and tomtom 3!!!
from looking at the other threads it looks like i wasnt alone in my limited ability to only load one 32m map as i couldnt expand using the sdio slot as my reciever was in there already....

so here goes
keep a copy of all your maps on the sd card, im using a 128MB
so when its time to change map,,,, for example form the sout-east UK map to the north,, simply locate the folder in your ipaq(normally in programme files called whatever (i.e south east navigator map) and highlight all the files in it and delete,. then take out your sdio gps and insert your sd card containing whatever map you need and simply find the folder on your sd card and go to the folder (i.e north navigator map and highlight all and copy) then just paste them to where you deleted the original map files... theres 12 of them in all..


the trick though is as these files are coppying from your sd card to your pda go to the memory allocation slider and keep sliding it toward the programmes end that way you wont get the no room error message..

you can now open back up tom tom without the sd card inserted and use the new map!!
