Help and Advice Needed

Hi,
I have just got an Holux GM-270U CF card receiver. I am having trouble connecting to my Ipaq5550.

It works ok on pc with the Sirf Demo programme that came with it, this comes up as a baud rate of 38400.
When i put it into the cf sleeve and click on to Holux GM-270 CF and choose CF_Card Generic nothing happens at all. Also when i run the Gps programme that came with the unit, i do an auto search but it does not see the what com port its in.

Has anybody got any ideas.

In follow up to the previous post. I have been trying other settings and the unit seems to work with
The setting of NMEA 0183v2 38400
and
The setting of Sirf 38400

Are these ok to use? and whats the differance as the NMEA one seems to find more sats?

The usual setting is NMEA 0183v2 4800
SIRF is a little more sensitive, but tends to be slower
