I have checkpoint 3.2 and Tom Tom 3 on a Xda ll, it all works great but I was wondering do I always have tom tom 3 route information running for checkpoint to pick up speed camera's.
As soon as I start Tom Tom 3 is search's for a destination, so I always put in the route, I am about to go,so that i know checkpoint is there for the speed camera's

Am I doing somthing wrong can I run Checkpoint or tomtom 3 with out putting in the destination I am about to travel so checkpoint can pick up speed camera's
Thanks for any help and Avice

I'm not sure what you are trying to say, but I run TT3 on my iPAQ with no route set. If there was a route, going to the map page, choosing tools and clearing the route - just leaves you with the gps tracking where you are on TT3.

As long as you have configured checkpoint to warn you of the approaching Camera POI AND you have them checked in TT3 to show on the maps, it should work fine.

You can also just "turn off navigation" in the navigation menu, and it still picks up the cameras.
