GPS to PC via activesync?

Hi,
My first post here. Hope I'm posting in the right section.

I want to know if there is a way to transfer the gps data from pocket pc to my laptop so that I can use the software on the pc.
I have a globalstar SD-501 card.
Another acceptable solution is some sort of PC SDIO slot (maybe with a special card reader?)
I just don't want to buy another gps device when I already have one.
Is this possible?

Have a look at GPSGate - it may allow you to forward the GPS data via TCP/IP (over your existing ActiveSync connection). But then the PC program must accept TCP/IP GPS as well. Not many programs do that yet. What are you planning to use?
