Help in choosing BT receiver for development needed

Hi,

I want to write my own software to get my location from a gps receiver, via bluetooth, and display the position on a mobile phone. However as this is a new area for me I need some help on deceiding what the best product to use is.

These are my primary criteria:-

Receiver must be less £100 if possible.
Receiver must use bluetooth.
Receiver must have a published API/SDK that will allow me to connect via BT and query position.
Receiver must be reasonably accurate
Receiver does not need any sort of display.
Battery life.

Any suggestions as to which receivers I should be looking at would be greatly appreciated.
