Why not create your own?
Either get someone you know with a good voice to record them on your PC then just save them in .ogg format (Audacity is one free sound recording prog that can do this) or you could download a text to speech prog, use MS Word's in-built text reader, or even try the Loquendo TTS demo page http://actor.loquendo.com/actordemo/default.asp?page=id&language=en.
Again, just record the output and save as .oggs.

Thanks for that Andy.

I've now managed to create the ogg formatted files from the original data.chk. All I need to do now is wait for a wet Sunday afternoon to create the individual Specs 30, Specs 40 etc as I'm currently using the only one I have ("Specs") for all speeds.

Thanks to all concerned for the work and the words that pointed me/us in the direction of the .ogg files option. The results are wonderful ! Now my lad has got his g/f to record custom warnings in her sexiest voice ....

D'ya think there'd be a market .....?

It's a shame the spoken voices from here include one just mentioning the "sponsor" (don't remember which camera type/speed we miss out on) and for THAT reason I've always been happy with Rays spoken voice warnings for speed cams but sort of understand that to you now need to add the .ogg voices for each camera type/speed etc.
I've asked Ray if he's intending to put up newer voices suitable for 6.500, 6.510 & 6,520 but doesn't seem like anythings been updated for quite a while there.
My questions are:-

1) Why can't the camera warning voices from here INCLUDE applicable .ogg files already renamed etc rather than we having to go through the hoop with renaming them all.
2) Why, oh why, does one camera/speed HAVE to have the "sponsored by".

Maybe for those of us that already subscribe and therefore are entitled to download the latest camera database we would be allowed a FULL set of voices (incl the applicable .ogg files) and NOT one with the rather silly and annoying "sponsored by" voice?

Could you be more specific in which files you used, where you put them, and how you went about setting the warnings up.

With this info we can then get you up and motoring.;)

Just a guess as I don't know the 510, but have you put the sound files in the correct folder/place?

Thanks for your replys
I was just going thru my reply and found that you have a speed zoned cam listing, now installed that and seems to work ok now.

I had installed the consolidated camera version

Perhaps put on http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/tomtom-poi-alerts.php that would be necessary to download the speed zoned camera download and assign the sounds to those.

thanks for a nudge even though you perhaps didnt know it!

Glad you got sorted and things are now working as they should be.
If you are happy with the sounds from your link above, okay.

However, in my opinion there are much better sounds around, most of which are available from "Rays Site" (sorry I can't paste the link as I don't have it available from this PC).
As they are slightly longer with wordings such as:

Warning Gatso Ahead Speed Limit 30 Miles Per Hour. and
Warning This is a Average Speed Camera Zone 30 Miles Per Hour.

Also there is now a new "EASIER" way of installing them.
