I'm happy to have the mobile and gatso separated. You need to set different warning distances.
A mobile can find you up to half a mile before you get there. A gatso only works after you have passed it. A Truvelo is a facing camera, but fairly close range as well. |

Thank you for those helpful observations.
However, you could still set different distances and have one voice warning file as long as you have the cameras groupsed into the approriate categories. So that the Gast 30's could have a 300 yd warning and the mobile 30's a 900yd one. |

Yes, fair comment.
Although when I hear 'mobile' I look for something on a bridge first and when I hear 'gatso' I look for a yellow box.
But I agree that to have some normal bleeps and pings left over to use for other things would be useful. |

Hi - I would like to replace the cow (moOOOoo) with a good quality 'approaching speed camera'. I have a wav file with the voice I want but am clueless when it comes to doing it myself.
I managed to install the voice files that overwrite the whole POI sounds but have now decided I would like them all back except the cow one.
Can anyone do this?
Regards

you can send it to Rayflan or to myself. But it needs to be in OGG format, in two samplings (22050 Hz and 16000 Hz) and make sure the volume level is satisfactory. _________________ Lutz

I don't know how to ensure the volume is satisfactory I'm afraid - but thanks for your offer. How do I restore my POI alerts back to the normal ones? I restored the original data.chk but that just crashed the TT big time

Did you upgrade from 5.0 to 5.1 and put back the wrong data.chk? |

Yes that is entirely possible . Where will I find the 5.1 data.chk file?

Is there any written procedure somewhere to create and compile our own data.chk file, for replacing the standard POI warnings by our own OGG files ?
I didn't found that procedure anywhere ...
Many Thanks ! |
