Hi everybody!
There is a new StreetPilot coming on the market!
Now I really can't make up my mind... Shall I wait? The new one has 3D navigation view, the screen is just a litle bit bigger and it comes with an internal lithium-ion battery for out-of-car route planning!
The rest must be pretty much the same but the the owners manual is not available yet to compare all the features.
If it is worth I will wait for the new version...
Jorge
I guess it all depends on which Street Pilot you were thinking of purchasing. At the end of the day, its too early to tell as complete specs aren't yet available. All we can say is yes there's 3D view, but it's not waterproof and is being advertised by Garmin at a price that would suggest it coming into the UK market between the Quest and SP2610, so prob around £450-650 (although this is a guestimate on price).
Expected availability shows March for USA, so it won't hit Europe or UK for prob another two months after this, so expect a May-June release date.

Hi Dave,
Thank you for your advice!
P.S.: The SP I'm thinking to buy is the 2610 _________________ Laptop PC with GPS Haicom HI-204-E, software Navigator4; StreetPilot 2610 with 2Gb CF
Now this one is tricky : what does it mean ? Out of car planning ???? Why a lithium battery. That seems far too sophisticated. But why else ?
I've got a SP2610 and find the use of the touchscreen, when using on my motorbike, very handy. But not, when I'm using it in a car. I have to bend over and stretch to the GPS and I'm happy there's a remote with it. I don't see that with the SP320.
My suggestion : wait until´it's on the market and do a thorough comparison. Be aware that the SP320 is NOT for use on a motorbike.
