Tomtom Navigator 3 keeps quitting

I've been using tomtom navigator 3 for a while now on my i-mate Jam, but never for any long journeys (just testing it out really), but this weekend I went on a long trip to Wales. It was all going well for about the first 100 miles. Then it suddenly decided to quit (had completely gone without a trace) I restarted it and then a few minutes later it quit again. It seemed to be quitting evertime it got to a section where it would normally announce a voice prompt. I decided to uninstall the voice part, but it still kept happening. I even ended up doing a hard reset and restoring from my sprite backup, but it keeps happening now.

Anyone had anything similar? I seem to have plently of free memory available (about 19mb).

I'm using version 3.07 with a fortuna clip-on bluetooth adaptor.
