Com Port Cf Gps problem

I am trying to connect a cf gps to an IPAQ 2210 without much luck – Any ideas

A 3rd party program “Device Manager” shows the CF GPS on port 0, however the mapping software only lists ports 1,4,6 & 9 and the gps software shows ports 1 to 16.

I have tried every combination of port and baud rate, even inserting the cf gps whilst the ipaq is switched off, and soft resetting does not work.

Anyone?
