Help on Track Recording

Has anyone actually used the 'Track Recording' facility on the iCN 510 ( Settings/Routing/ + 2 pages ), if so could you give me a run down on the procedure for using it, I understand it can be used with AutoRoute but what the procedure is goodness knows.
Secondly can 'Pocket Streets' from 'AutoRoute' be used with the iCN 510, I did manage to export from AutoRoute as instructed by the Microsoft Help page and it did go into the 510 storage card and then I had a screen on the 510 that resembled a PC My Documents page listing the contents of my storage card but not knowing what to do with it I thought it best to delete it and I haven't been able to do it again. Any tips?
Not too worried about the Pocket Streets, although info would be helpful, but info on Track Recording would be greatly appreciated.
