So annoying / is there a solution?

Hi,

Driving through France I wanted to go to something like Avenue (or was it Boulevard?) Haussmann in Paris.

Going through the menus of my Navman510... Destination / Address .. in the road field I entered "Haussmann"... ... Navman found 16 entries. Going to the next screen....

AVENUE DU BARON HAUSSM... (in which town??)
AVENUE DU BARON HAUSSM... (in which town??)
AVENUE HAUSSMANN, AUXE... (likely in Auxerres.. but is it?)
AVENUE HAUSSMANN, AUXE... (..very likely too but is it ? Didn't know there were two avenues with same name in same town... )
AVENUE HAUSSMANN, BLAY... ( .. could be Blayes... or somewhere else..)
BOULEVARD HAUSSMANN, P... (Paris ? Poitiers? every other French town which starts with "P" ?)
BOULEVARD HAUSSMANN, P... (and is this one different from the one here before?)

(and next screen..)

RUE GEORGES HAUSSMANN, ... (here it starts all over again..no town info..)
RUE GEORGES HAUSSMANN, ...(no town info.. )
RUE GEORGES HAUSSMANN, ...(no town info.. )
RUE GEORGES HAUSSMANN, ...(no town info.. )
RUE JEAN MICHEL HAUSSM ... (no town info.. )
RUE LOUIS HAUSSMANN, VE... (no town info.. )
RUE HAUSSMANN, COLMAR, ... (aha.. this must be Colmar in Alzas)
RUE HAUSSMANN, COURBEV... (could be Courbevois... but is it?).

Does anybody know a way to show the whole line instead of cutting off the end of the line?

I dont understand why one want to show unusefull information. .. "Boulevard" could easily be replaced by "bvd", "rue" by "r", "avenue" by "av", "Place" by "plc" ..etc... then there would be more space remaining on the lines for usefull information.. like the locations or town names.

Is there a possible to change the names or replace all "boulevard"s in the directory by "bvd"?..etc...

Lucky me... "P" made me think of Paris and Haussmann is likely a Boulevard so eventually I found the location.
