tomtom software only for palm?

Any suggestions as to where I could buy just the TOMTOM software for Palm to run on a T3. I have a t3 and a garmin etrex I already have a 256mb sd card and therefore assume I could be up and running with a cable for 20 quid and a copy of the software.

Problem nobody seems to sell just the software?

Any suggestions?

You can't actually buy the software only for the Palm - although you can for the PPC. Bizarre - maybe this will change in the future.

That said, there is a way to do what you want (it's what I use) - see this thread.

Basically you need to buy the software-only PPC version to get the "product code" to activate the maps. The product code is OS-independent.

For the actual Palm software, I was lucky in that the PPC software CD I bought was a bit older and actually had the Palm software on it! Others have said that the "updates" on the TomTom website are full versions; I've not confirmed that,
