Silver Shield PDA Windscreen Mount

Hi All,

I brought a Tomtom wired navigation kit which cam with a Silver Shield Windscreen mount.

The problem I have is that they web site says there should be Screw Ratchet locking pivot point, which to me should lie there should be some point on the arm that it should bend, but I can figure out how to make it work.

Does anyone know if this mounts arm should bend and how to make it bend, or can any one suggest a better windscreen mount which will hold a Toshiba E740?
