Outlook Contacts To POI any interest?

Some of you may have noticed I posted an alpha release of a smartphone (ms) program to create a POI file for TomTom (any version) from the contacts on the smartphone. I got very little (almost none) response to this alpha hence this post.

Due to problems with the smartphone and connections, and because it seems there are more symbian users currently than smartphone, Ive decided to build a windows (desktop) version that does the same thing.

So will anyone actually find this usefull, to be able to create a POI file from postcodes of your outlook contacts. I personally find it a useful tool but I won't go to all the trouble of testing / tidying etc if Im the only person who wants it.

Please let me know your thoughts, bear in mind this will be a free program.

I actually did try this program but gave up because of the success rate of getting the connection and rereival from the server, even using connection through active sync. I may be more interested in it if its goning to be more reliable on the desktop.

the connections issues were what I was refering to in my first post, being specifically related to running on the smartphone, so yes the desktop version would not have any such connection problems
