BT-308 and PC software

Are you using the Microsoft BT stack or the Widcomm (phew, Broadcom) stack that came with your BT dongle?

Its the Widcomm stack on an hp laptop with builtin bluetooth.
They call it "Bluetooth by hp"
The laptop can see the Bt-308 and can pair up but then it wants
to interogate it for "services" and can find none so it won't
let me do anything with it ?

Just as a followup ... I can use the bluetooth manager on my IPAQ h5450 to search the BT-308 (actually rebranded to HP) and I can
see a service "BT-GPS COM Port" ...

The IPAQ uses the Widcomm stack also so just not sure whats
happenign so that the laptop can't see the service ?

I was able "downgrade" the software on the laptop and now t works ....
