Dear all,
I make road books and I prepare test drives all over Europe. Basically I don’t know much about GPS but I often use navigation systems from cars and I also use my laptop with an external GPS to help me to find my way on foreign countries (Navigator 4 with haicom)

I’ve been searching a lot on the internet and I wonder if you could help with some advices… I really would appreciate…

I am thinking of buying a Garmin Street Pilot 2610. I really need this for my professional activity as I constantly travel all around Europe making road books.

As I said before I intend to buy a satnav device but I still didn't make up my mind. Also I don’t know much about GPS, but I’ve used many basic “in car” navigation systems based on GPS.

It would be very important for me to know if these model has the track log (and track back) feature. Also I would like to know if is it possible to save a route just by driving it, I mean, not a route that we've programmed in advance but just any route that we are driving but want to save. I've downloaded instructions from the garmin's website but I couldn't find the function.

any help apreciated,
Jorge
