To save RAM, can TTN3 be installed on a storage card along with the maps or must the programs be installed in RAM?

Thanks,

Ian

Are there any advantages / disadvantages for storing in flash memory if TomTom is the only program running and you are careful about battery usage so you aren't likely to end up with RAM being emptied? Presumably main memory is faster than and SD or CF card?

The article warns that there is a longer initial start up delay, but it's a matter of a few seconds. More important is the issue of powering off and back on again - this can cause an exe file to be missed in the restart process forcing an error. Best read the article Smile
