How to submit a new speed camera location (Nokia 6600)

Hi all,

I am a new user of the tomtom mobile running on Nokia 6600. It is such a useful application for me because I have just arrived in London from Sydney.

The speed camera database such a very useful addition to the application, but I have come across a speed camera which is not in the database.

I understand that some people had already asked this question before, but can anyone provide a detailed instruction on how I can get the coordinates of the speed camera location and how do I submit it to be added to the database.

Option 1)

When you drive by the speed cam, press 4-4-OK . This will add the current position to your favourites. Obviously this is of limited use, since you only have a short list of favourites available, and there is no way to get to the coordinates - other than using a different program to find the spot on the map.

Option 2)
Create your own POI category (5-6-5-3) , call it "My speed cameras" or whatever.
Then when you drive past one, press 5-6-5-2-Select-4 to add the current GPS position as a POI within your POI category.

This will create a "My speed cameras.ov2" file that you can then send to us for the updates.

Conclusion: It is WAY TOO DANGEROUS to do this with the Smartphone. while you are driving. Please keep your eyes on the road.

Note: The key strokes are for the Windows Smartphone - they may be slightly different on the Nokia, but the idea is the same.
