I have just loaded up Tom Tom Traffic and currently enjoying the free trial. The software is working great but all my times and miles to destination have disappeared ?

Is this normal? If I look at properties for Navigation Screen it still says they should be showing.

Any Ideas ?

You will find there is a new option to turn off route detail. This hides the bar along the left of the screen, then your missing info can fit and will re-appear.

I've set this to toggle on a hardware button.

As gpssparky says, with Traffic installed you can toggle between the route summary and the information you've mentioned - I, too, have this on a hardware button.

That said, I'm not greatly affected by this, as the Safety Screen still shows both the ETA and related data and the route summary. As I keep my safety speed at 30mph, most of the time Navigator is in the Safety Screen. However, this is a personal thing.

Sorry for a blonde moment but I can't see this option to turn off the route detail.
Is it on the traffic tab? If so then I don't have it (3.07T).

It's on the first page of the menu.

Embarassed
I'm still blonde.
The route detail displays after I have set a route then goes.
I can also show the route planner by selecting tools in map mode, or by pressing and holding the box showing my speed (dark blue box).
There is a light blue box below this with nothing in it.
Then a box with traffic connection status.
In properties>advanced>navigator> I cannot see anything that resembles a box to stop the route detail.

The first page of what menu is that?

Tap the screen in the Navigator mode - this is the Navigator menu.

The option you're looking for is "Hide Route Scheme", which is probably on the second page (press More... to change pages).

Still can't find it? If that's the case, maybe it's not in your Navigator menu. You can configure the Navigator Menu options (and your hardware buttons) using the Advanced tab of the Properties dialog.

You can find the Properties dialog using Properties if it's in your Navigator Menu, or File -> Properties in any other screen.

Not a problem - the further clarification may be helpful to someone, as well as being a reminder that Navigator 3 allows you to rearrange the Navigator Menu to suit your needs.
