I don't know of anyone specifically in your area, but I got a great deal of help, when I was wanting to make a permanent installation of my PDA and GPS, from the person who professionally installed the hands-free kit for my company mobile phone.

I rang on the off-chance he might have a suitable mounting bracket, since I didn't want to use the suction cup and flexible arm that came with my kit.

It turned out he lived quite close to me.

Not only did he give me a suitable bracket (he has lots of spare 'bits', as the hands-free kits he installs come with multiple options) but he showed me how to dismantle the area around where I wanted to mount the PDA, where I could route the cables and the best places to pick up the various wires I'd need.

Installing a powered mount would be a 'doddle' for this type of chap !!

Try looking in Yellow Pages under 'Mobile Phones and Accessories' - In my edition, there were several local firms offering installation services.

If you're not confident to do the work yourself, I'd endorse the recommendation to talk to local companies that install hands free kits.
