Trine Position sloooooww

Hi,

I've got a EMtac Trine GPS and a very strange problem.
If you look in the CruxView everything works perfectly but
in some applications the position is changing very slow and
also the GPS time is not working properly (1 seconds takes
5 till 10 seconds to update). The NMEA string is coming in
the PC perfectly without CRC errrors
It happens on all 4 comports of the Trine

Strangest thing is, I didn't change anything on my WinXp PC
but suddenly this happend.

Does anyone experienced the same problem?

Even better, does anyone has a suggestion to solve it?

I would suggest opening your Crux View software, connect to the Trine, then click the "reset" button (it will be found next to the "open button".

This will essentially force a cold start on your unit, and may or may not fix your problem.

I would also suggest trying the Trine with another device to see if you are still experiencing the problem. I would suggest checking to see if you have the latest firmware for the BT device you are using in your WinXP device.

What GPS program are you using with the Trine?
