|
|
Hi,
I have recently bought a Mio 168 with Tom Tom 3 for navigational purposes, but have found some of the other Pocket PC features fantastic. I was really interested to see Internet Explorer and MSN on it, but wondered how they can be used?
Can anyone tell me what the options are to get online with my Mio 168? It would be good if I could send and receive email and browse the internet without the need for a laptop etc.
Kind Regards
Andrew |

You will need to see if a WiFi SD card will work in the Mio. That's about the only option I can think of (of course you could access the Internet from the cradle as well, but that's soo uncool...) _________________ Lutz

Hi,
Thanks for the suggestions. Can you suggest anywhere I can look to get a WIFI card, and are there any traditional modems available that connect via sd
Thanks |

hi there,
I connect to my wireless broadband router via an SDIO card from my 168, works a treat.
The SDIO card also has 256mb of memory and was from expansys.co.uk
Its a Sandisk 256mb+Wi-Fi card.
cheers. |

You can also use a mobile phone if you have one with an IR connection and then use GPRS or CSD. |
