Often if i take my ipaq 5550 out of the car, then use it again later on another trip, the bt connection to the gps doesn't re-connect. If I go to TT3's gps settings and toggle the bt check mark off and back on again it connects fine, but this is a pain. Have tried TT support - all I got was link to upgrade to latest rev, which despite having stated I am using Traffic was a non traffic version. Anyway, updated to TT3.05 which made no difference.
Any suggestions?

I have the same hardware configuration and the same problem but have found a way around it.

When you disconnect, turn the IPAQ off first and BT off second.

When you reconnect, turn the BT on first and the IPAQ on second.

For some reason... it works.

ozgal - thanks for this suggestion , it would eexplain why it works sometimes. I'll give it a try.

yes, that's the driver version. You may want to try and remove this driver version and replace it with version 2.07 from our downloads page.

Make sure you do a soft reset before attempting to remove the GPS driver. Verify that it is indeed removed before you proceed.
