Hello everyone!!

Got a few problem with my Fortuna clip-on which I purchased a couple of days ago from Global Positioning Systems.

After turning on the clip-on, the middle light stayed red for over a hour seaching for satellites. I eventually turned it off, switched to XT mode and switched it on again. Within about 2 minutes, the middle light went green indicating a fix.

I then used my iPAQ 3970 to connect to it using BT, which was successful. I then fired up TT3 and all was ok.

However, after approximately 3 minutes TT3 would stop receiving data. Further examination found that the icon in the BT manager had stop being green and reverted back to its inital colour. This means that the pairing between the two devices had been disconnected.

Is this a problem with my iPAQ or the Clip-on?
Is there a timeout setting for Bluetooth?

Looks like this one stumped all of the techies on here Laughing

I found out what the problem was.......

Bluetooth on Windows Mobile 2003!!!!!!!!!

There seems to be a bug here as after I downgraded the 3970 to Windows Mobile 2002, everything works fine!!!

I read that there is a WM2003 Bluetooth patch from HP but it will not load on a 3970. Does anyone know how to fix this Bluetooth problem?

Regards
