Blaupunkt Woodstock DAB54 Car Radio & PDA Coonectivity?

Hi,

Has anyone come across the above car radio? Apparently it has bluetooth for connecting to a PDA but I don't know what benefit you would get from this.

It also has a couple of auxiliary inputs to allow the connection of external Walkman or iPod MP3 device - does anyone know whether you could input a PDA audio output through these connections which would overide the radio/CD to get voice through the car speakers. Or would the telephone mute input need to be used with perhaps a qubit amp?

I'm sure the digital radio will be good enough in itself but some additional functionality for sat nav would be more than useful. Any view (or perhaps alternative setups)?

Yes you could route the PDA audio through the AUX input but it would not cut in and mute the radio etc. You would need to route the audio into the Tel / Nav input and use a qubit as you have suggested. I have a Woodstock DAB 52 and was thinking of adding the qubit but the price has put me off.
