I am having problems with the above, I am trying to download to two PDA's the one has Pocketgps data on from 14/07/04, the other has no ov2 on. The download starts O.K. but then 'could not create remote file PocketGPS_uk_ov2' is displayed if you continue 'download info invalid ' is displayed. The only thing new on my PC is SP2.
Please advise
P.S. Thanks for last weekend it was most enlightening.
P.P.S Activesync works O.K.

Further to my previous message.
It appears that there is no where in the above program where you can set the Target location (page 3 of your POI instructions). Thats why I cannot write to my PDA's. As a way around it I thiught I would download your POI atabase and copy the .BMP and .ov2 directly to the PDA unfortunatly your latest database does not include PocketGPS_uk_gatso.ov2, is this an oversight

If this is happening then it's because either the PPC isn't docked and you don't have a valid ActiveSync connection, OR you have ActiveSync 3.71 which Microsoft broke third party support for.
Try downgrading to ActiveSync 3.7 or prior. |

Thanks for you comment, however if you read my following message you will see that the problem appears to be with POI in that you cannot specify a target location, as several of the options are 'greyed out' on the top bar of POI it may be interferance from SP2 I will check on compatibility mode, I have had problems with Winzip which a change in compatability mode corrected.
Thanks

Following my previous post I can confirm that a change in compatibility mode allows the SET TARGET FILE screen to be displayed.
