Tomtom or Copilot for USA

Anyone have opinions on this? I now use a pocket pc with Tomtom. The user interface is great but the maps average. Are copilot maps for the USA any better? Are there compelling reasons to switch to copilot? Will Tomtom update USA maps anytime soon?

yes, they are newer, and they have the side of the street for each house number (very important in the US)

Let's switch on the crystal ball... From previous experience I would guess that TomTom would like to profit from the holiday shopping season...
