TomTom Go and Speed Camera database

Hi All, Great site by the way! well cool. Looking forward to getting my TomTom navigator 3, when the cradle finally comes in stock . Anyway the point of this post.

A friend of mine has the TomTom Go, he is totally none technical and I can't get to see it for a while. Is it possible to put your speed cameras poi on the TomTom Go?

Ok, next time i will read the whole article before i ask:)

Hve managed to get a look at his TomTom Go, have put the speed camera database on it, in the maps directory, soft reste the Go and hey presto, no speed camer poi's in the poi list

Checked out the menu's and he does not have the maintain POI option but has enable/disable POI's. Hum, sounds like it doesn't support it!

Checked out the version and it is version 4.20, the latest on the site is 4.21 so told him to try updating to that, but the sire says:-

"TomTom will make the feature available to add third party POI’s for TomTom GO. An update that includes this feature can be downloaded by end of summer 2004."
