Hi,
I'm trying to do two things.

Connect Laptop to GPS via BT dongle
Works on one program (Memory-map), but not on Autorute 2003 or others I have tried. I can see the data in hyperterminal.

Connect XDA II to GPS
I can see the GPS in the BT settings, but can not use any software with it (Crux/Outdoor Nav/Vito Navigator). I want to prove the connectivity prior to buying any software, such as Tom Tom etc. Tried a PPC terminal with n joy.

Anyone got any helpful hits for either of these, or a list of compatible software?

Thanks

Doug

Have you set up the BT GPS with an Outbound Serial Port (it should have prompted you when you first "discovered" it with the XDA2)? If so, then you should be able to connect if you power bluetooth on and then select that port and the relevant baud rate and standard (e.g. 38400 and NMEA for ClipOn).

I;ve got an XDA2 and it works fine for me, so if you have any other questions, don't fesitate to ask.

Tom

Had to download a new Bluetooth stack to support serial lines. Works a treat now, so just need to sort out the Autoroute issue.

Cheers
