Have just received my Upgrade copy of CP5. First I deleted CoPilot and Wave files from my PPC, then installed in the desktop, PPC and activated. If I go to Programs and click the appropriate new logo it starts ok and seems to plan routes (haven't tried it in the car yet) But my old short cut is still in the start meny, and of course the program it is pointing to has gone. If I try to uncheck that and check the new logo for the newly installed prog, I get "Unable to move that item" in both cases. How can I remove the old short cut and get the new one to work?

On the PPC, go to Start >Programs > File Explorer, there navigate to \Windows\Start Menu\Programs and delete the old shortcut that does not point to anything anymore. Then you will be able to bring the new shortcut to the front of the start menu.

Thanks Lutz - all OK now. And it works in the car! But unlike the last version (CP5 beta) it didn't autodetect my GPS receiver. I switched to manual and chose Com1 and it then worked fine
