Hi All
:D

New to pocket GPS...

I am thinking of buying a Navman PiN Pocket PC to allow me to combine work related applications with a Navigation system (cause i get lost alot) however i do have a few questions (which the so called spotty teenager of a sales person could not help)

So i thought i'll asks the experts?

1. Is it worth the money £400 or can you advise something else for around the £300-£500
2. How long does the battery last for. (and i mean really how long does it lasts for un load and not what the manufacturers think i might last for)
3. Any know conflictions or problems

Thanks for any help

The Navman PiN is a Mitac Mio 168. This hardware is available in many guises and I reviewed the CoPilot bundle sold by Evesham, see http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/mitacmio168.php .

It's a good system but you should consider the other packages and read the reviews of TomTom Navigator and CoPilot to see which bundle would suit you best. With GPS Active and screen at 50% I squeezed 3hrs 50mins out of the unit and with screen backlight off 4hrs 30mins.

You should also consider TomTom GO if you do not need the PDA functions, this is a dedicated portable in-car GPS Navigator.
