Connecting Garmin III Pilot to Ipaq 3600

Hello,

I need your help pleqse.

I purchased a didicated cable in order to connect Garmin and Ipaq and use them as navigation system with Destinator or Mapopolis. The problem non of these softsware can recognise the GPS unit. Itried all available port com's.

Is there is any thing I could missed and needed to get the system works properly....

you must chose COM1, and set the baud rate to 4800. Make sure the Garmin is set to emit NMEA sequences.
