Hello everyone...

I'm going to buy myself a GPS to my iPAQ 2210.
I'll mostly use it while picking mushrooms, to log golfrounds and orienteering (whatever that is called in Enlish) and such, just for fun and something to spend some money I earned this summer... :D I wouldn't mind to be able to use it while traveling either, but since I don't have a car (poor poor student) that will be a future option...

Now to my questions, I have read some about the diffrent GPS systems out there, but for me it is like a jungle...

I need information if I should go with a bluetooth solution or use my CF slot, what is the advantages and disadvantages of the diffrent systems.

Like precision... I read some systems say "Less than 25 m" (Sweden uses metric :D ) and I don't even know if that is 24m or 5m on a good day (Many satellites, how many "many" is, I have no Idea)...

Battery time is another issue. I realize the CF uses the PDA's battery, not a good thing I guess since that battery is a bit limited as it is...

What kind (and if you like give me an advice on what product) do you think I should get, I do not need a "top of the line" equipment...

Would love to hear what people think, I've tried to read as much as I can on this site, but most discusions are far more advanced than I am (yet at least... GAAHHH I'm study engineering... I SHOULD know more, I WANT to know more...).

Sorry if my English is a bit strange, but I'm on a holiday :D

I would use the tomtom bluetooth device, now the fixes are in place (v3.03 patches) everything works very well.

Make sure that you buy the fastest CF or SD card that you can afford. Avoid the cheap brands too!
