Any ideas?

Hi Tim,
I've been looking for one of these for an Emtac GPSJaq I'm considering buying. I see you have a Navman sleeve which I assume is a similar size and shape; have you tried it in the Seidio? I guess the other option is an Arkon, but with so many product options its hard to work out if one's suitable!
Thanks, Peter |

Hi Peter,
I think the sleeves are the same size, in fact it's possible that there is a standard form factor for iPAQ sleeves.
As to whether or not I've used a Seidio, or any other active mount, the answer is 'no'. I emailed Seidio but they never got back to me, which put me off buying from them a bit, and I've heard bad reports about the Arkon offering.
However, I'm off to the States soon (in fact, this time next week I'll be there :D 8) ) so I might seek one out while I'm there. _________________ Tim |

Width wise the Navman and Emtac sleeves are identical, but depth wise the Navman is deeper than the Emtac on the main back of the sleeve, partly due to the Navman sleeves having a round back rather than a flat back which is what the Emtac sleeve has. |
