:D Hi

I winder if anyone can tell me whether my Toshiba e570 is capable of running TomTom 3.

I have looked at the list of compatible Toshiba units on the TomTom website and the e570 is not listed as compatible

I currently use it with TomTom 2 and it works very well with a Globalsat BC307, but perhaps TomTom3 would be better?

I would welcome any experiences of e570 users

Thanks Thumbs Up

Looks like you should be able to use it with a CF GPS card, or maybe with a USB-to-serial converter cable and a serial receiver.

TomTom is not the issue, it's more the poor connectivity of the e570.

If you are running OK with TomTom2, what would you gain by swiching to 3? Very littly I would think, especially if you have to pay for 3.

Thanks Guys

I will stick to TTN 2. I have now got the UK postcode software loaded on and it seems to work well, although I have yet to test it on a route.

Thumbs Up
