Additional maps for SmartSt pro v2

I am about to buy the navman 4410 with version 2 of Smartst pro, this comes with all the Europe maps which is great but I’m about to go to New Zealand for 3 weeks and would like to use it there as well. I have been emailing different companies and Navman themselves about buying an additional map for NZ but no one has replied.
I have also been searching for anywhere that would sell maps but I have drawn a blank.

Is TOMTOM software easier to buy maps for?

Any assistance would be appreciated.

I would expect Navman to have maps of N Zealand after all they are based in N Zealand. It would seem ludicrous for them not to have maps for their 'home' country!... would'nt it?

I would try Navman again.
I assume you have been to their AU website? http://www.navman.com/go/aus/index.html#contact however I see no mention of NZ. Perhaps it is hard to get lost there???

Thanks for your Reply icsys, I have never found anything on any of their web sites about NZ maps. This morning I finally got a reply from a teckie bod in NZ:

"Navman SmartST will be available for the first time in New Zealand in
September. After that time New Zealand maps will be available from the
Navman Europe office."

.....Strange because as you say they have a "Home" base there.
