For information, this was a mother board deffect.
The pocket PC has been replaced by ACER and seems to be ok now ! |

Anthokr,
I got my N35 a couple of days ago and have noticed the same problem, the clock is losing about 10-15 mins occasionally, did you contact Acer direct or return to your seller? Did Acer know of the problem?
Thanks in advance,
Steve. |

Hi,
Just call ACER hotline and explain the issue.
Tell that you have seen the same problem on this forum and that it appeared to be a Motherboard failure. ASK FOR A REPLACEMENT.
They asked me to send it back using DHL (they are paying for it).
I believe this impacts some of their N35 (bad luck).
Try to make them commit on 5 days max return...else they will take one month..
I hope this helps. |

Anthkr,
Thanks for the reply, I have contacted Acer and my N35 is being collected this afternoon for return, and hopefully should be resolved.
Will keep posted :D |

Just an update got a new N35 back form Acer but[u] it took three weeks of constant nagging and very poor help from Acer, big letter of complaint gone in but the clock keeps time on the new one, so far anyway.
Now I need to put in the safety cameras and sort out the machine telling me three miles to a roundabout and showing two, wish I could understand how to do it?????????????????? |
