 Am I going mad? I've downloaded Checkpoint, it's in the right place (i.e. not on the SD card), the POI's and sound files are all in the right place and I've configured everything but don't have a synchronise option on the Checkpoint menu! I've registered with POIplace so I have my security code, but nowhere to enter it!
I can't check or change my internet settings because I have no 'connections' tab in internet options. AARGH!
What do I need to do to get checkpoint working? I'm using an HP iPAQ HX 2110 running Windows Mobile 2003 2nd edition version 4.21.1088 and TomTom Navigator 3

I originally had V.2 so I tried to download Checkpoint 3.2 yesterday but had an error message saying that the download wasn't successful. Today v3.2 has appeared on my PDA and the menu bar suddenly has a sync option in it - wierder and wierder! Seems as though my PDA needed an awful lot of time to digest the upgraded software. This has happened before so I think it may be a problem with the hard drive, I've only had the PDA a couple of months and keep having to soft reset it. Just about to try and sync it now - fingers crossed!

v2 did not have the sync options (they came with v3), hence why you didn't have the menu option.
Now you've got v3 setup, all should be well, although after a few months you may find the data available via the sync option isn't worthwhile, and the pocketgpsworld.com camera database and other POI files are more useful and more accurate. |
