Hello!

I'm using Checkpoint with Tomtom 3.07 and it seems to work pretty well.
Now I want to improve the database, but whenever I try to add or remove a checkpoint, it will not be shown in the recorded POI list, and therefore also not be synchronized.
What's the problem? Removing via POIPlace site also seems not to work.
I hope you can help me!

Cheers
pyro

Hi Pyro,

Which version of CheckPOInt are you using?
Which database do you want to improve?

If you are using our camera database then we recommend that you use CheckPOInt 2.02. When a new version of the database is released, you just overwrite the old database (.OV2 files) with the newer ones. Thumbs Up

Regards,

I'm using CheckPoint 3.2.0.0.
Is it really that bad compared to 2.02?
Actually I want to remove a MC Donald's which is here twice and add some mobile speed cameras, and sync it to the POIPlace database.

If you’re using POIplace databases then you’re probably better off with CheckPOInt 3.xx, however if you’re using our (PocketGPSWorld) databases then you’re better of with CheckPOInt 2.0.2.

I’m not used to CheckPOInt 3.xx and I haven’t used any POIplace databases for a long time.

Regards,
