After 5 weeks of great service Jane appears to have suffered a lobotomy as far as GPS is concerned. She will not lock onto any satellites and persistently displays "No Valid GPS Device!" in the GPS Status screen....

Very sad day Sad

Wonder if anyone else has had a similar experience.

sad to hear that. But just to put the record straight - Jane is the name of the TomTom voice, and other people may not understand your subject line since it's not the voice that died but the GPS antenna...

As a last resort, did you try a reset, there's a small hole on the underside, use a paper clip. Or even try a full re-format.

Do you know anyone with a TT Go external antenna to see if it locks on with that.

You never know.

No GPS device idicates that the system does not see the GPS receiver. Apart from the receiver or the processor board going wrong, the most likely cause is the loose flexi connecting the processor board to the GPS receiver.

But do try resetting it first - you never know

You'll find that TomTom's repair/replace service is very good. You should have a working Go within a week.
