Changing the voice in TT3

I was talking to a friend recently about TT3 and he said that in the USA you can get different voices. One was California Bay Girl who would saythings like, "You so want to do a left turn", is this correct? If so, can we get it in the UK?

yes, all you need to do is to copy all 59 WAV files into a separate directory and then point the TomTom Voice registry entry to that folder.

If the "bay girl" voice is available as a CAB file (a ZIP like file containing the setup instructions too) then the CAB installer will do that for you.

There is a program out called "Voice Switcher" so you can have different voices for different days and click between them, depends how much storage you have for how many you use. TomTom have a few standard ones (male/female) on their site to download http://www.tomtom.com/community/addons/type.php?ID=32&CID=3&Language=1
