XDA IIs, CRX 100 and a Bluetooth Car kit. HELP.

I have just had a Sony Ericsson HCB300 bluetooth car kit installed by the company. I have an XDA IIS and use Tom Tom3 on a Holux CR100 combination charger / GPS cradle. The GPS side of things works perfectly but for a few minor issues with checkpoint and not receieving any audible warnings for speed cameras. My problem is that I cannot establish a working Bluetooth connection between my XDA IIs and the HCB300 bluetooth car kit. This may not be the right place to discuss this but having seen some of the knowledgable responses I thought I would give it a try. Is Tom Tom interfering with the Bluetooth sustem on the XDA? I do not use any other bluetooth devices with the XDA. Should I hard reset the XDA and try connecting with the car kit and then re-install Tom Tom?

XDA's have a poor reputation with regard to BT compatability, especially for handsfree/headset modes. The XDAII lacks a BT Handsfree profile so will revert to BT headset mode.

I'd make sure that your Sony carkit is supported before blaming TomTom, try asking at www.xda-developers.com or www.tekhuru.co.uk .
