Navio and Maps

Hi

Anyone know how to get an imported jpg map to display from within the Navio program. I just bought Navio for my Medion MDPNA100 and am trying to learn how it works. It comes with a world base map, but that is of little use unless perhaps you are ballooning around the world! I thought you could somehow import a map image - but does it need to me called something special or placed in a special place on the PPC? Any help appreciated!

Found the answer - its straightforward (when you know how)


Maps must be saved in the \My Documents directory in order to be recognized by the program or on the root directory of a memory card. When you exit the program, the reference points you have defined are conveniently saved and do not need to be re-specified the next time you use the same map.

They can also be any name you like - there is a map select function...
