How are some of you guys getting the screen grabs of the icn 510? Is there software to do it or are you taking digital photos?

Being the iCN510 a closed system I don't see a way to install other applications as dotpocket.

Any other ideas on how to grab screens from the iCN510

You could be correct, since Icelus pointed out the fact that you cannot use the software i originally suggested i have looked on several review sites, and there screen shots are not very good at all, even Navmans own screen shots are poor.

If you have a look at this link, the screenshots where done using the dotPocket software, and are very clear indeed.

Are you saying that this works with the ICN series?

How locked down is the system, can you access the file structure using Active Sync? I ask because the Medion PNA150 is a similar device but runs WinCE in the background. Using some registry mods you can force WinCE to the foreground and from there install the MS Remote Display Util. I'm using this to grab screen shots for the review.

Update: We've tried the mod that worked on the MDPNA150 and sadly it did not work.
